Course Outline

This course provides fitness professionals with the skills and knowledge required to plan and deliver safe exercise for children and young adolescents. It involves planning, demonstration, instruction, review and modification of activities and instructional techniques to meet participant needs.

Upon completion of the Instructing Exercise to Children and Adolescents, students will be able to:

Determine the movement and fitness requirements of children

Plan movement and exercise sessions 

Instruct and evaluate movement and exercise sessions

The course is presented using a variety of interactive slides, videos and notes. As a self-paced course, you can study when it suits you.

With the flexibility of studying online, you can move through our interactive slides, videos and resources, all at your own pace.

The majority of our assessment can be completed online, with instant results. We also provide support 7 days a week, including after-hours on weekdays, so our team will be able to assist you with any questions you have through your time with us.
