END OF WINTER SALE! ENDS 14.08.26!

Mind Blank February 2026 Update

At Onfit Training College, we believe that supporting mental health awareness and prevention is just as important as building physical strength and fitness. That’s why, for every student who enrols in an accredited course with us, we donate $5 to Mind Blank — helping to fund powerful, storytelling-based mental health programs in schools, workplaces, and communities across Australia.

Thanks to our incredible students, your enrolments have directly contributed to the positive change. Every course started helps open up conversations, reduce stigma, and build a brighter, more mentally healthy future for young Australians.

A Joyful New Beginning for the Mind Blank Community

As we begin 2026, we are honoured to share a special moment with our community and reflect on the vital role maternal health plays in building strong families and healthy futures.

In December, our founder and CEO, Ally, and her partner welcomed their daughter, Eva Louise Prior, into the world. Eva arrived earthside on 23 December 2025, bringing with her new life, new perspective, and a deep sense of gratitude.

Meeting Eva for the first time was one of the happiest moments in Ally’s life. She arrived as a true force of energy at 40 weeks and 6 days, reminding us of the strength, resilience, and courage that sits at the heart of every parent’s journey.

Ally is recovering well following a natural, drug-free birth after a four-hour labour, and both mum and bub are doing well. Eva is healthy, content, and already very loved, while her dad has embraced his new role with endless cuddles and care.

At Mind Blank, we understand that maternal health extends far beyond pregnancy and birth. It includes physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, hormonal changes, sleep deprivation, identity shifts, and the pressure many mothers feel to “cope” and “bounce back” quickly. These realities can have a profound impact on mental health if they are not met with understanding and support.

While welcoming a baby can be filled with joy, it can also bring exhaustion, anxiety, uncertainty, and moments of overwhelm. Many parents experience postnatal mood changes, anxiety, or depression, yet too often feel isolated or hesitant to speak openly about their struggles.

That is why maternal and postnatal mental health matter.

Supporting mothers means ensuring access to respectful maternity care, postnatal follow-up, mental health screening, practical assistance, and safe spaces to share honestly. It means recognising that caring for a newborn while healing physically and emotionally is demanding, and that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Ally’s experience reminds us how powerful strong healthcare systems, trusted professionals, family support, and compassionate communities can be in protecting maternal wellbeing. When mothers are supported to rest, recover, and feel emotionally safe, families are better placed to thrive.

As an organisation committed to prevention and early intervention, we continue to advocate for policies, services, and community attitudes that prioritise maternal health alongside child wellbeing. Supporting mothers is one of the most effective ways we can invest in long-term mental health outcomes for children and young people.

We are deeply grateful to our community for the warmth, patience, and encouragement you have shown during this time. Your support reflects the values we strive to uphold every day.

As we step into 2026, we do so with renewed purpose, inspired by new life and guided by compassion.

Thank you for being part of the Mind Blank family and for standing with us in every season.

With full hearts,
The Mind Blank Team 💛
