Our team is passionate about helping our students achieve their potential! We love being able to educate the next generation of professionals who will be making their mark in the health and fitness industry!

Don Bacchi

Owner and Director

Don has over 35 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, and with experience stretching over 3 decades it’s no wonder Don’s even been an Aerobic Instructor in the 80’s! Over the years, Don’s passion for health, fitness and wellness only grows stronger. Leading by example, Don’s role at Onfit is very hands on, consulting and collaborating with the rest of the Onfit team, and our Industry Connections. Being one of the first colleges to go online, Don has continued to drive Onfit with the passion and determination to be a leader in the health and fitness education sector.

Rhonda Bacchi

Owner and Quality Manager

Rhonda has a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in the health and fitness industry. Her passion for helping people has led her to a range of roles, including owning her own personal training studio, and working as a physiotherapy aid. Now, her passion for helping people can be seen in her hands on role with working directly with many of our students. As Quality Manager, Rhonda’s role is to ensure that all aspects of our college are of the highest standard, including the quality of our education, support, industry reputation and experience for our students. With such an important role, Rhonda’s passion, attention to detail and personal touch are key.

Jeff Cook

Business Performance Manager

Jeff’s been with Onfit Training College since day 1, so over 10 years! Jeff has 20 years’ of experience in the health & fitness industry and holds a Bachelor of Human Movement Science. Jeff’s extensive work experience includes working in some of Queensland’s largest health club chains, working as a Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer and Personal Trainer Manager. Jeff also continues to run his own Personal Training Business. As Onfit Training College’s Business Success Manager, he plays a key role in looking at the future of the health and fitness industry, to ensure our qualifications stay cutting edge. 

Rob Gardener

Education Manager

Rob’s been part of the Onfit team since 2013 and we couldn’t imagine the team without him! Rob holds a Bachelor of  Exercise and Movement Science, as well as his Certificate III, IV and Diploma of Fitness. With over 10 years’ of experience as a Personal Trainer, Rob has trained clients within gyms and as part of his own business. He’s passionate about Strength and Conditioning Training, and is also a keen basketball player.

Dan Darcy

Senior Trainer & Assessor

Dan’s been with Onfit since 2015 and has over 12 years experience in the Fitness Industry. Dan’s roles have included being a trainer within a large chain of clubs, a club manager and a regional club manager for 3 clubs. He also has a strong background in Allied Health and working within aged care facilities.  Dan has also run his own Personal Training Business and specialises in Children’s Fitness Training and Boxing. As part of our Training and Assessment Team, Dan assists with supporting you throughout your course, as well as marking your assessment.

Kate Lister

Trainer and Assessor

Kate holds a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Exercise and Sports Nutrition, as well as a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Nutrition. Kate has worked in gyms and allied health settings for over 6 years – working with sporting teams for rehab and nutrition, rehabilitation for cancer patients and as a weight loss coach.

Nate Devlin

Trainer & Assessor

With over 15 years’ experience in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, and Fitness Director of his own Group Exercise Business, Nate has a wealth of experience to share. Nate also brings incredible skills in motivation, mentorship and mindset-coaching, an asset when it comes to helping our students reach their goals. Nate is a qualified Trainer & Assessor, who holds his Certificate III, IV & Diploma of Fitness,  Diploma of Applied Science and Remedial Massage & a range of other Professional Development certificates, including Older Adults and Fitness Training for Children.

Sharron Justice

Career Advisor

Sharron has over 3 decades of experience in the health and fitness industry and is passionate about helping prepare Onfit students for their successful careers. Her wealth of knowledge is extremely valuable and Sharron is keen to share her expertise with Onfit students getting started with their careers! Sharron has a specific interest in the Allied Health sector, so helping our future Allied Health Assistants is a passion of hers.

Mike McCone

Career Advisor

Mike joined the Onfit team early this year and has always has an interest in sports & health throughout his life.  Mike is passionate about truly understanding what our students wish to achieve and making the right recommendation for the student. Mike really loves to speak to people, hear about their passions and be the stepping stone to make that person’s dreams become a reality. When he’s not at work he’s likely cooking up a gourmet meal for his family, cycling or gaming.

Louise Sutherland

Career Advisor

Louise has an absolute passion for Health, Fitness, Personal Development and has qualifications in Life Coaching, Fitness and Business Management among others, and is one of the most bubbly enthusiastic people you can meet. Louise, if not chatting with you to find your perfect career path, is likely at the gym, spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, or working on her own Personal Training business. Louise has been in the Health and Fitness industry since 2014 and chose to join our Onfit team in 2019 to help people make the right career choices for them.

Jackie Wells

Student Services Administrator

Jackie’s been with Onfit since 2013 and is part of our administration team. Jackie’s role in our admin department includes everything from setting you up with your online courses, to managing your records while you study and graduate! Jackie holds a Bachelor in Leisure Management (Hons), and also holds her Certificate III & IV in Fitness. Jackie’s passion for our students means we’re often reminding her to leave the office, otherwise she’d live here!

Kayla Daly

Student Services Administrator

Kayla has been part of our administration department since 2017. Her positive attitude and care for our students  shines through in what she does. Kayla’s role includes assisting with student enrolments, so she’ll likely welcome you to Onfit, and ensure you’re all set with your studies.

Katy joined the Onfit team in 2021 and brings with her a wealth with her of in education administration. As part of our administration team, she is here to assist with welcoming you to Onfit and assisting with any timeline or financial queries throughout your studies. Her passion for providing quality service to our students makes Katy an asset to the Onfit team.

Shannon Bacchi

Marketing & Systems Manager

Shannon has been with Onfit since 2010, first working as an Administrator, and has since expanded into Marketing & Operations. Shannon’s passionate about spreading the word about what Onfit has to offer. As part of her role, Shannon focuses heavily on student experience and ensuring that Onfit is leading the way in the education sector of the health and fitness industry.

Jordan Murphy

Strategic Partnerships & Finance Manager

Jordan joined the Onfit team in 2015. His role focuses on connecting Onfit with businesses and professionals within the health and fitness industry. Working with industry connections allows us to gain valuable insights into the needs and wants of employers – ensuring our courses prepare our graduates for successful careers.
